High-quality but not for me

I’ve been looking for very strong tobaccos, and this is certainly about as strong as it gets. The nicotine level was fine, but I think the flavor of this one might just be too strong for me. Compared to a milder tobacco like Kendal dark, I didn’t really pick up on much complexity here. Just a very strong, almost burnt taste. It reminded me of spicy food: I like very spicy food, but once a dish gets past a certain spice level, that’s all I can taste (and to extend the analogy, I’m sure some people love chili made with scorpion peppers, but it’s not for me). This was a disappointment because I’d been looking forward to trying this one for a while. But to me it felt like a one-note flavor. That Make Black Twist a Staple! I’ve always smoked it straight but recently started using it in my blending projects using a press to make “Cakes”. It brings that Gawith Joo-joo to other more basic blending components. 5 stars!
