Solani - X - Sweet Mystery 50g
A very good fruity aromatic
I enjoy the cut, it’s coarse, and packs well. The light fruit taste comes through in the smoke, but not overly so. The smoke is creamy, the flavour is berry, stone fruits and a bit of rum over a premium tobacco mixture. Easily a 4 star for people who think an aromatic should be tobacco forward, if you want to smoke cherries just get a vape pen.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Aniseed Twist
Tasty but sopping wet
My first bowl I sliced the rope as thin as I could with a cigar cutter. Left it to dry about 30 minutes. Tasty but a steamy relight heavy bowl. The piece I got (2oz) was about the size of a medium cigar, Needs a lot more dry time than 30 minutes. A small bowl of 3 very ultra thin slices was not relaxing to smoke, as relights were needed so very much I may update this after leaving some to dry for a day
Cornell & Diehl - Crooner 2oz
Crooner, for burley lovers
Moisture - perfect. Strength - strong - not a mild burley, strong nic. Cut - perfect for gravity filling your pipe, small pieces .1-.25 inch sq. Burn - lights easily and burns well without needing relights. Flavour- tastes of burley with nice deer tongue hits occasionally. Flavours meld toward the last 1/3 of bowl. Overall- not sweet, not complex, just a good smoke.
